Reasons Why a Live-Action Adaptation of Takopi's Original Sin Could Be Excellent

FOLIO OTONITY – “Takopi's Original Sin” is a truly captivating story that won over audiences who gave it a chance. The dark tone and touch of gritty realism in Taizan 5's manga give it an aura that's very hard to find in other titles.

Precisely because of these qualities, it’s a work that would really stand out in the live-action realm, and given the huge impact its anime had, I don’t think anyone would doubt that it deserves it.

The main obstacle with this type of project is that it’s always difficult to adapt manga and anime to live-action.

There’s no need to mention all the times this endeavor has ended in utter failure, though it’s also true that such adaptations seem to be getting better and better.

One reason for this high level of difficulty is that it’s often hard to adapt the protagonists’ powers, magic, and abilities so that they look as good as they do in an animated series.

Another, arguably more important reason is that live-action productions often fail to capture the essence or charisma of the characters. Just ask Edo from Cowboy Bebop, for example.
