Synopsis: Takopi's Original Sin

Takopi's Original Sin (Takopī no Genzai) is a dark psychological web manga and anime series by Taizan 5. The story follows an octopus-like alien named Takopi who comes to Earth to spread happiness. He then meets Shizuka, a girl who is a victim of bullying and suffers due to family problems. Takopi’s innocent intention to use a magical device ultimately leads to tragedy because he fails to understand the complexity of human emotions and emotional wounds.

Broadcast Schedule for Takopi's Original Sin

Takopi's Original Sin surprised us a few months ago with the announcement of an anime film that will retellits story. Titled Takopi's Original Sin: Thank You. See You Tomorrow,' the film will finally premiere on November 27 in Japan and will adapt all six episodes of the series. Perhaps most importantly, the film will include never-before-seen scenes that fans of the series are sure to appreciate. Along with this announcement, they’ve released the first trailer, which you can watch here.

The first thing to clarify is that there is still no official information that would allow us to answer that question with complete certainty. However, we can come up with a few theories. Based on past experience, everything points to the film Takopi’s Original Sin most likely not being released in the West until 2027. In other words, fans who want to watch it will have to be even more patient.
