New Game Ready for Release! KonoSuba Expands Its Chaos With Season 4 and a Brand-New RPG

FOLIO OTN – KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! is entering another major phase, with Kadokawa confirming both a fourth anime season and a new game project. The announcements arrive as the franchise celebrates its 10th anniversary, giving fans two separate projects to look forward to.
The most anticipated announcement is undoubtedly the confirmation of KonoSuba Season 4. The next installment is scheduled for broadcast in 2027, continuing the adventures of Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness after the events of the third season.
Alongside the anime news, Kadokawa has introduced a new free-to-play RPG titled KonoSuba – God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Prosperity to This Beloved Town!, commonly shortened to Machisuba. The game is planned for release in Japan during 2026 across iOS, Android, and PC.

Machisuba is designed as a 3D role-playing experience that brings players back into the unpredictable world inhabited by Kazuma and his eccentric companions. Instead of simply recreating an existing storyline, the game will feature original scenarios and fully rendered 3D battles.
One of the project's biggest attractions is its connection to the original creators. KonoSuba author Natsume Akatsuki is supervising the game's story, while illustrator Kurone Mishima is contributing to its visual development. This gives the new RPG a direct creative link to the source material.
The familiar cast will also return in voice form. Jun Fukushima will once again portray Kazuma, Sora Amamiya will voice Aqua, Rie Takahashi will return as Megumin, and Ai Kayano will reprise her role as Darkness.
