The young-adult drama has officially received a second-season renewal after making an impressive impact shortly after its debut, reportedly becoming the platform's No. 1 global debut. Created by Megan Park, Sterling Point premiered on August 5, 2026. The series centers on Annie Jacobson, a 17-year-old from New York whose life changes dramatically after she inherits her late grandfather's mysterious island in Canada's Muskoka region. What initially appears to be an unusual inheritance soon leads her toward unexpected relationships and long-hidden family secrets.
Annie's arrival on the island introduces her to Ramona, a young woman who is already connected to the property. Their encounter gradually uncovers a much deeper family connection, transforming what begins as a mysterious summer adventure into a story about identity, family, romance, and belonging.
