Dragon Ball is a Japanese anime and manga series created by Akira Toriyama that follows the adventures of Son Goku as he searches for the Dragon Balls and fights to protect Earth. The main series includes Dragon Ball (Goku’s childhood), Dragon Ball Z (his adult years), and Dragon Ball Super.
The worldwide success of the Dragon Ball manga has led to it being adapted not only into a comic but also into an animated series, or anime.

Dragon Ball Super: Galactic Patrol
"Galactic Patrol" is a new anime in the franchise that has been officially announced but does not yet have a release date. That hasn’t changed, but we have a new clue that helps us narrow down the release window a little further. That clue is Toei Animation’s work schedule, which lists release dates for the projects they’re working on, including video games, anime, and other media.

What catches our attention here is that "Dragon Ball Super: Galactic Patrol" does not appear in the 2026 or 2027 columns. Instead, the title is listed under TBA (To Be Announced), which means it is among the projects that do not yet have a release date. In other words, if it isn’t listed among next year’s projects, it’s highly likely that the title will be released at a later date.
Therefore, everything points to the possibility that Dragon Ball Super: Galactic Patrol will be released in 2028, or late 2027 if we’re being optimistic. Of course, a worst-case scenario is also possible, in which the release is delayed, but that seems the least likely... and besides, I really don’t want to think about that possibility.
