The Absence of Rudeus
One of the biggest problems with a protagonist like Rudeus is that he is portrayed from the very beginning as a suspicious sexual predator. However, the premise of "Mushoku Tensei" suggests that in his second life, he undergoes a personal transformation that makes him a better person. Nevertheless, this is barely evident in the anime’s new season.
Now, it turns out that the highly controversial scene from the light novel wasn’t included in the anime. And to be honest, that’s a good thing.

Rudeus’s reflection on how disappointing it is that he feels no sexual attraction toward his younger sister is, so far, one of the most disturbing thoughts the protagonist has had recently. In other words, even with everything he could possibly want, he can’t suppress thoughts that would be fitting for a criminal.
