Storyline Danchi Days Game
Many years ago, Indieszero and Nintendo created an amazing GBA game called Sakura Momoko no Ukiuki Carnival. In the game, your goal is to organize a carnival for Colortown, invite the locals, and earn the gods’ blessing to ensure everyone has a good time.
Unfortunately, this game was never translated into English. However, Danchi Days, developed by Gingham Games, Melos Han-Tani, Mogumu, and Sandy Powder, captures the same spirit and initiative of bringing neighbors together in the hope of once again holding a lively summer festival.
Hoshino Kanaoka and Rio Isshiki are childhood friends who grew up in the same danchi (think of it as an apartment complex) and even attended the kindergarten run by her grandmother, Kimiko. However, that was about seven years ago.

Review Game Danchi Days
Now in sixth grade, 12-year-old Hoshino and her father have moved back to the danchi to help her grandmother, who is now suffering from dementia, and have noticed that the spirit and sense of community have waned somewhat since Kimiko stopped serving as the main representative and organizing the annual summer festival.
Hoshino, believing that reviving the festival would help her grandmother recover, went to see the "god" of the danchi, enlisted the help of a kappa assistant named Moro-Q who had once worked with her grandmother, and spent the next nine days gathering the offerings needed for the god and for the event, while using fieldwork and the internet to collect RSVPs from participants to ensure the event’s success.
Although many aspects of Danchi Days make it feel like an adventure game, it also features light-hearted collection minigames. Many RSVPs and triggers for specific events are tied to Sense Master challenges. Each one requires Hoshino to achieve a certain result within a set number of steps.
