Following the flashback to Eris’s training at the Holy Land of Swords earlier in the season, the story now shifts its focus to the dynamics of Rudeus’s party. Starting with Episode 8, which aired on August 16, 2026, the anime officially enters the Chaos Breaker Arc.
The title of this new chapter is derived from the legendary floating fortress belonging to the Armored Dragon King, Perugius Dola. Production studio Bind once again delivers stunning fantasy visuals as Rudeus’s group sets foot inside the mysterious stronghold.

Tension mounts as the story unfolds. Episode 9 focuses on a critical situation facing one of Rudeus's key allies, Nanahoshi. The character who was transported to this isekai world during the Teleportation Incident—is suddenly struck by a mysterious illness that is ravaging her body.
Nanahoshi’s condition deteriorated rapidly as her human body could not tolerate the mana accumulation in that world. Sylphie’s attempt to cast a detoxification spell backfired disastrously, causing Nanahoshi to vomit blood and lose consciousness.
