Two Days Before BLACKPINK’s 10th Anniversary, BLINKs Are Overwhelmed with Disappointment

FOLIO OTONITY – August 8 is a special date for BLACKPINK and BLINK, their loyal fans. It was exactly on that date that BLACKPINK debuted 10 years ago. Unfortunately, BLINK isn’t exactly filled with joy right now.
As BLACKPINK’s 10th debut anniversary approaches, fans are instead overwhelmed with frustration and disappointment. That’s because, with just two days to go before the anniversary, there are still no plans from YG or BLACKPINK regarding any group celebrations with fans.
BLINK’s frustration grew after the management announced the release of exclusive BLACKPINK 10th Anniversary merchandise. But what fans really want isn’t just more and more merch.

BLINK’s wishes are clear: more group activities, BLACKPINK music, or—as the BLACKPINK BLINK UNION account wrote on X—simply live streams on social media and spending time with BLINK.
“We’re not expecting a comeback, a world tour, or a fan meeting. Fans’ expectations have plummeted—they’re extremely low right now. But seeing the 10th anniversary pass without any celebration at all breaks our hearts,” wrote the @BBU_BLACKPINK account on X.
A flood of protests from BLINK on social media regarding the group’s lack of activity following the conclusion of the Deadline world tour has also been overwhelming. They understand that solo careers are important, but activities as BLACKPINK are also important to fans.
