Shueisha Opens the Manga Vault: MANGA MILLION Brings Hundreds of Series to Global Readers

--

FOLIO OTN – Manga fans around the world have received an unexpected gift from Shueisha. The Japanese publishing giant has introduced MANGA MILLION, a new digital reading platform designed to make a huge selection of its manga available to international audiences without requiring payment or registration. The initiative arrives as part of Shueisha's 100th-anniversary celebrations.

The name of the service reflects its enormous catalogue. MANGA MILLION offers roughly 400 manga titles, representing around one million pages of content. Instead of restricting access to a particular country, the platform is being made available worldwide and supports more than 100 languages, creating a significantly broader reading experience for international fans.

One of the most interesting aspects of the project is its multilingual focus. Nearly 300 titles are receiving official translations for the first time, while dozens of other series have been prepared in multiple languages through international licensing partners. Among the supported languages are English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Korean, Turkish, Polish and Tagalog, among others.

The catalogue also contains some of the industry's biggest names. Readers can encounter internationally recognized works such as One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, SPY×FAMILY, Kingdom and Oshi no Ko. The selection is not limited to action-oriented shonen titles, as the platform also includes popular shojo works such as Nana and Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You.

This variety is important because MANGA MILLION is not simply intended to attract readers who already follow Shueisha's most famous battle manga. With more than 150 shojo titles reportedly included, the service also highlights stories aimed at audiences interested in romance, relationships and other genres beyond conventional action adventures.

Another major advantage is the platform's accessibility. Users do not need to create an account before reading, removing one of the common barriers found on digital entertainment services. MANGA MILLION can also be accessed through modern versions of Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.
