6. A Terrifying Hollow Transformation
One of Ichigo's most memorable transformations occurs during his battle against Ulquiorra Cifer in Hueco Mundo. When Ichigo is pushed to the brink of death, his dormant Hollow power erupts and drastically changes his appearance. His body takes on a monstrous form with horns and immense physical power. However, this strength comes at the cost of Ichigo's control over himself.
7. Final Getsuga Tenshō
Against Sōsuke Aizen, Ichigo unlocks an exceptionally powerful technique known as Final Getsuga Tenshō. After training in his inner world, Ichigo reaches a state in which he essentially becomes the manifestation of Getsuga itself. His appearance changes considerably, including long black hair and a dark aura, while his combat power rises to a level capable of challenging Aizen's evolved form.
8. Horn of Salvation
The Thousand-Year Blood War reveals more about Ichigo's complicated heritage and the different sources of his abilities. Once he understands how his Shinigami, Hollow, and Quincy powers are connected, he gains access to the Horn of Salvation form. A distinctive Hollow horn appears on one side of his head, while markings spread across his face.
Unlike his earlier Hollow transformation, this state represents Ichigo's ability to incorporate his Hollow power without surrendering his consciousness. He can also combine techniques from different aspects of his power, including Getsuga Tenshō and Gran Rey Cero.
