The developers are also preparing additional content for supporters. Every backer will receive three bonus missions as they are completed. These scenarios take players into different kinds of Section 9 operations, including an isolated island crisis, a cybernetic incident affecting civilians, and a dangerous investigation inside a luxury hotel under lockdown.
For collectors, several physical editions and extras are available through the campaign. The options include a hardback rulebook, a digital PDF edition, a GM screen, dice, character sheets, miniatures and other collectible items. The BackerKit campaign page lists the digital rulebook at £15 and the standard hardback edition at £35, while additional bundles provide access to other merchandise.
The game attempts to capture the elements that have made Ghost in the Shell an influential cyberpunk property for decades.
