Who Is Saheli Khan? The Voice Actress Behind the New Avatar, Pavi, in Avatar: Seven Havens, Is in the Spotlight
--
FOLIO OTN – The animated series Avatar: Seven Havens introduces a new generation of Avatars through the character Pavi, an earthbender who is Korra’s successor. With the release of the first trailer at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2026, fans’ attention has turned not only to the new story but also to Saheli Khan, the young actress chosen to voice the main character.
In Avatar: Seven Havens, Pavi is depicted as living in a world transformed by a massive catastrophe. Unlike previous Avatars, who were viewed as saviors, Pavi faces hatred because society blames the Avatar for the destruction of civilization. Together with her twin sister, Nisha, she must uncover the mystery behind the Seven Havens while striving to save what remains of the world.
Saheli Khan’s name was one of the surprises in this project. The young actress and singer of Indian-Pakistani descent revealed that she had to keep her role a secret for nearly three years before it was finally announced to the public. For her, keeping that information under wraps was one of the biggest challenges of her career.

Before joining the Avatar universe, Saheli had already gained experience in musical theater. She performed on the North American tour of the musical Frozen as Young Anna and also starred in a production of Matilda the Musical as Matilda Wormwood. In addition to acting, Saheli has been actively honing her singing and dancing skills, which have been part of her artistic journey since a young age.
The series Avatar: Seven Havens will continue the story following The Legend of Korra. In addition to introducing Pavi and Nisha, the series features new characters such as Jae, Karthik, Agam, Daemin, and Zi. Meanwhile, the trailer also includes a brief appearance by Korra, sparking various theories about her role in the next generation of Avatars’ journey. The series, created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, is scheduled to premiere on Paramount+ in October 2026.
